Huma Kirmani (born March 13, 1972) in Pakistan, is an author and has written 13 books. She is a public speaker, a social activist, a mentor, and an honorary member of United Nations of Pakistan. Her first novel, "Corridors of Transmutation," is on Afghan war and refugees crisis. Kirmani has written poetry in English language, among which to brilliance are Saffron Crocus, Limen Conscientia, Ode To Summer, In Scissura In Ventum. Kirmani's poems appeared in HILAL Magazine, published by ISPR.

She is recognized as a writer at the forum Women Without Borders. As a novelist Kirmani is the winner of National Novel Writing Month (in 2015 and 2017) with her bestsellers, "Tears of Jasmine" and "By The Rivers of Babylon" depicting with extreme depth the truth about the war in Syria and Iraq. As a nonfiction writer she also published "Corridors of Transmutation: Agony" once again marking the pages of history with war and terrorism, hence portraying the Afghan war and the refugee crisis. Her "Languished Dale of Substinence" is about "honor killing."Kirmani's book on Honor Killing  is against the black ritual that is being exercised in rural areas of Pakistan. She writes about the inequality of human rights and against a gender biased society, and she believes in preserving the rights of minorities orthodox, while recognizing extremism as a real smudge in the face of humanity.
In her writings about Pakistan she states:

(Pakistan translates to land of the pure); the land of the brave and beautiful; a nation with bold people who are encapsulated in rich colors and beautiful culture; who have a precious history of heritage; a heritage who unfortunately it’s been flaring up in the rage and agony of proxy war and terrorism. Most of my books are about wounds of terrorism, substantial pangs of migration as the worst consequences of war, whereas human trafficking is also a post traumatic effect of war and terrorism infliction. Peace is really sobbing like an innocent child whose parents are being lost or deceased. My passion of writing these novels arose from wanting to depict the misery of war children as the pathetic sufferers of humiliation at the worst threshold of tyranny of war and terrorism.
